Women’s Health: Drinks to get rid of Menstrual Cramps

  • Cinnamon Tea:

What you need:

  • Cinnamon powder – ¼ tsp
  • Water – 1 cup

Process:

  1. Boil a cup of water.
  2. Now add the cinnamon powder into this boiling water and let it boil for another 4-5 mins.
  3. Turn off the heat and let it steep for about 5 mins.
  4. Once the cinnamon tea feels warm enough to drink sip it slowly.
  5. Can be consumed 2-3 times in a day.

 

  • Aloe Vera Juice and Organic Honey:

What you need:

  • Aloe vera juice – 1 tbsp
  • Organic honey – 1 tsp
  • Water – 1 cup

Process:

  1. Add the organic honey to a glass of water and mix it well.
  2. Now to this add the aloe vera juice and stir it well again.
  3. Drink this aloe vera and honey juice 2-3 times in a day as an ideal solution to stop menstrual cramps.
  4. This remedy will reduce the pain in the back and the lower abdominal area as well as regulates the menstruation.

 

  • Curd and Banana Leaves:

What you need: 

  • Banana leaves – 1
  • Oil – (For cooking the leaves)
  • Curd – 1 cup

Process:

  1. Fry the banana leaves in cooking oil for 4-5 mins.
  2. Then take them off the flame and add these cooked banana leaves to a cup of curd and mix it well.
  3. Now eat this banana and curd remedy as a quick menstrual cramps relief for about 2-3 times in a day.

 

  • Carrot and Coriander Juice:

What you need: 

  • Carrot juice – ½ cup
  • Coriander juice – ½ cup

Process:

  1. Mix both the carrot juice and coriander juice well in a glass and drink this delicious remedy to treat the painful menstrual cramps.
  2. This process can be repeated 2-3 times in a day as it helps in relaxing the lower abdominal area as well as reduces the painful cramps.
